Coal Games Project is an Open Source Arcade Script based of the popular blogging script, WordPress.
This is not any ordinary arcade script in that the architecture is very well planned. This arcade script will be very secure because of the good architecture. Currently, Coal Games Project is still in beta and is not ready for production sites. The aim will be for April 2010.
Launchpad.net/coalgames is the place where the project is hosted. You can go there and view the development status and evene download the latest revision.
History
Originally, Coal Games was a very simple script used on coalgames.com in 2008. Then, in early 2009, the code was rewritten from scratch again and during the months of march to June 2009, a lot of development was being made on this new version of Coal Games. But, after those months, development stopped. Luckily, in December 2009, the Coal Games Project was rewritten from scratch again but now is somewhat based on the architecture and code of WordPress.
